A Network Marketing Mentor's Committment

What is a Mentor? The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines a mentor as "a trusted counselor or guide."

How many home based business owners can truly say they can contact their FREE personal mentor and ask any question at any time? Corporate America is surely not the best place for seeking out a Mentor to answer a question about a problem, issue or concern related to their job.

I was tired of Corporate America changing rules after rules and never getting ahead or receiving recognition for my hard work. I wanted to make a difference in other people's lives and receive recognition and payment for my efforts, so I searched for a network/ internet marketing home based business. My passion is to make a difference in other people's lives.

The first thing I did was to research the internet.
I found a very interesting FREE ebook Success in 10 steps.
and was introduced to Michael Dlouhy, author of the ebook and founder of Mentoring For Free.
I also started a serious personal self development makeover.

Maybe you are asking this same question, where do I start? It is the same process that I started with. Download this free ebook and we will initiate your FREE personal self-development training together with Mentoring For Free, Art Jonak, and other millionaire leaders.
Our mentoring
program will teach you how to think and discover so many wonderful character
attributes about you, you will be amazed!

Michael has a simple plan: Be committed to your success.
When you are internally successful, the universe will seek you out.

I wanted to pass this golden nugget to you today as it is, in my opinion, a great description of what a Mentor is. My good friend and personal mentor, Michael Dlouhy,
wrote this definition of a mentor yesterday.

"Think of someone you know who is "a person of
good character." Lock his or her image in your
mind. Now take a moment to reflect on the things
this person says and does........

.......the personal
characteristics that make him or her a role model
for you. What comes to mind? What do you see?

Chances are that high that on the list of your role model's
qualitiy is..... COMMITMENT ......- the unwavering
dedication to being a good family member and friend
...to doing his or her best at work and away from the
job...to doing what's right, noble, and decent.

Committed people like your role model just seem to
have their heads and hearts in the right place. They
keep their priorities straight. They stay focused on
what's important. They know, inherently, that what
they believe must drive how they behave - and
how they behave ultimately determines the character
they possess, the reputation they enjoy, and the
legacy they leave.

Abraham Lincoln had this to say about commitment:

COMMITMENT is what transforms a promise into
reality. It is the words that speak boldly of your
intentions. And the actions which speak louder
than the words.

It is making the time when there is none. Coming
through time after time after time, year after year
after year. Commitment is the stuff character is
made of; the power to change the face of things.

It is the daily triumph of integrity over skepticism."

The world renowned pianist, Van Cliburn, after one
of his magnificent concerts was approached by an
admirer who had been in the audience.

The emotional fan grasped Cliburn's hand and said,

"I would give my life to be able to play the piano like
that."

The pianist smiled and replied..."I DID."

If your upline is requiring or highly suggesting you to buy leads to build your network marketing organization, keep your purse strings tight and run, run, run!

Did you know a lot of sites that you can purchase leads from are owned by network marketing gurus. They set up a splash page to market a new pre launch. Why Is it So Difficult To Gain Success

There are over 600,000 internet marketing businesses to choose from. I am sure you have done your homework as to how the company works, what the products or services are involved and how you are going to get paid in order for you to make a solid and permanent decision for success.

The problem is that 95% of the ones who join a company fail in the first year to make the money they were lead to believe they were going to make.

It is not that they fail because they did not work at it in some capacity. Unfortunately, one of the biggest reasons for failure is not the enrollee but the company was never designed the payment to pay the big bucks. So how would you know the company's philosophy and the biggest question is how can you avoid this problem in the future?

The first step is to get the real truths from someone who had those same experiences by reading and listening and learning the skills.

So first download this free ebook, Success in 10 Steps. It was written by my friend and mentor, Michael Dlouhy. Not only will you find the real truth but you will also become educated in the other real truths about network marketing via 10+ generic teaching calls throughout the week.

No one can afford to lose money in today's economy, when your main purpose based business is to make more money through your home based business.

Compensations Plans-Part 2

My professional colleagues, Anna and Bob Bassett from Canada are brilliant. They passed along this information and I want to pass this information to you. This is a second part to my last blog.

A Ponzi scheme usually offers abnormally high short-term returns in order to entice new investors. The high returns that a Ponzi scheme advertises (and pays) require an ever-increasing flow of money from investors in order to keep the scheme going.

The system is doomed to collapse because there are little or no underlying earnings from the money received by the promoter. However, the scheme is often interrupted by legal authorities before it collapses … As more investors become involved, the likelihood of the scheme coming to the attention of authorities increases.

Wikipedia explains the fine differences between a Ponzi and a pyramid, but all we have to know is that they are ILLEGAL, and WE CAN GO TO JAIL! Do not pass GO. Go directly to jail!

Here are some red flags and some questions to ask yourself if you’re ever tempted into thinking that surfing is a good idea:

Why can I not pay with a recognized credit card?
Why do the surfing companies all tell us that they will have credit card access ’soon’?
Why do some companies forbid charge backs when they are not using a credit card anyway?
Why can I not pay with PayPal? Is it because Paypal knows that surfing is an illegal Ponzi?
Why do some surfing companies avoid the issue by telling us that “Paypal is not MLM friendly”? Why must I sign up for some payment processor created by the creators of the surfing program?
Why is this company registered in Panama or Ecuador or offshore somewhere in Bongobongoland?
If services are provided in the US or Canada, why do some companies claim they are governed by the laws of Bongobongoland? Especially if the CEO and the company lawyers live in the US? Hmmm …
When I do a search on Who is, why are these sites created just a couple of months ago?
When I do a search with Google Maps, why does the company’s address show up as an empty lot?
Why does the owner claim to be a Christian or of any other faith when this is supposed to be a business open to one and all? If the CEO is a Christian, does this ensure the legality of the scheme?
If I were to discover that this IS a Ponzi where people ‘at the bottom’ are guaranteed to get hurt, does this pose a moral dilemma for me as I pay off my mortgage with funds received at the expense of others?
Why do some distributors claim that their CEO has received awards from the US Government at a dinner at the White House, when we can’t find any record of such an award in any government publication?
If there is a phone number on the website, why can’t I reach a human when I call it?
Why does no one ever call me back?
If I am being paid for looking at other people’s sites, why is it that if I ‘invest’ $5 or $50 or $500, I still have to surf the same ten or fifteen or twenty sites per day to get the return on my money?
Why should I not have to look at more sites for more money?
If I am paying for advertising, why is that when I spend more money, I do not get more exposure?
Do I really believe that I can earn 1.3% per day on my investment? That’s 1.3 x 365 = 475% per year!!!
If the return is that good, why are Warren Buffett and Bill Gates and Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki and our banks not doing this?
Why have so many other surfing companies been shut down by the AG in the last five years? Why is Rod Cook of MLM Watchdog (click here and scroll down) so fiercely opposed to surfing programs?
Why does my brain turn to mush when I look at pucky like this?
I check out everything else in my life.
Why do I ignore all the danger signals when it comes to this?
Why would I not check this out with my Attorney General or RCMP or the Competition Bureau of Industry Canada, just to make sure I’m safe and that I’m not hurting anyone.

Does Your Compensation Plan Pay the Part-timer

When you are in a network or internet marketing company, you get paid a commission. In other words, your paycheck is tied to a compensation plan.

A compensation plan can really get confusing. Some of the types of compensation plans include the binary, matrix, aussie 2 up, etc. It was all foreign to me when I started.

Most network marketers are part timers. They are looking for supplemental income to help out with their bills. 96% of networkers are part timers and the interesting part of this is that 95% of networkers fail within their first 2 years of signing up with a company.

Why? Well it is because the pay plan does not pay the part time person! Most plans are designed, for example, pay the real big money @ 6-7 levels down. If the part time person is not making the money they are looking for, they don't stick it out to wait until their down line grows to that deeper level.

If the majority of your commission check does not come from product sales, otherwise it is a SCAM. See my previous blog. In other words, the pay plan must pay on product volume.

If your company pays on levels, that is a multi level marketing system. When a company pays on volume, retail volume not wholesale, you can produce those commission checks in your mailbox.

How to Indentify a Network Marketing Scam

If you are looking for a home based business, I suspect you are spending hours on the internet searching site after site and wondering if the business will deliver what they are promising. Is it the real thing? There are over a half a million sites trying to reel you in and offering you the deal of a lifetime and advertising how easy it is for you to make your first million.

We all know this is not the way it works. As 95% of these businesses are fly by night operations.
So how do you know if the business is legitimate?.

Here are several ways to evaluate a legitimate company.

1.Go to your browser and type in the name of the company and add "/scam" after the company name. Any article or information that comes up is a red flag. Yes, some people who were scorned may write a nasty article but overall if you see anything that is written from the attorney general's office or a state government agency writing about a company or a high level management individual illegal practices tells you to look the other way and start your search again. This is a securities fraud, a ponzi scheme, pyramid, and illegal.

2. Look at the product and how the pay plan is attached to the product. If the product can stand alone and be purchased without it being tied to a recruiting system, then that is a good sign. If there is no product changing hands, and the only money being made is through recruiting or a membership site; run, run, run.

3. Can you buy a similar product at the drug or grocery store? Why would someone else want that product if it is twice as expensive as a product found at Walmart, Walgreen's or CVS?.
I recommend this site. It is a great place to find out any bad information about a certain company. http://mlmwatchdog.com

4. The home office. Is it a huge beautiful building, with fancy windows and a lot of beautiful architecture, where do you think the money came from to develop and build the building? It came from the affiliates who were building their business and were not receiving an optimal payment for products sold. Another thing, if the company brags that they have over 100 customer service representatives, this is another huge red flag. Why do they need so many? Who is paying their salaries and benefits? Do they have all those complaints that the management needs to hire them to correct customer problems.

If you are seriously looking to increase your financial situation and want to build a legitimate home based business, contact me as I can give you the real truth and coach you to success. Believe me, I have been scammed and do not ever ever want anyone to go through this terrible experience. This is why Mentoring For Free teaches you the skills to be successful.

People Requesting Me to Join Their Business

Within the past 2 days, I have had over 50 requests from other network marketers to me to join their business. I have found that when you make a decision based upon your life values, the decision is easy.

I politely email them and let them know that I am honored that they thought enough of my friendship, intelligence and knowledge of the industry to ask me to join them.
I have found a home and not interested in their opportunity.

Mentoring For Free has taught me how to evaluate a company's compensation plan, policy and procedures whether it is a 5 pillars company.

It has also provided me the skills to know how to think and with friends and colleagues for life. The FREE Ebook Success in 10 Steps is the first step in understanding how to think. Being coached by my friend and mentor, Michael Dlouhy and the Mentoring For Free team is priceless. The choice is yours, my friend.
